Gwen Benson, Nashville, TN
Gwen Benson is our Director of Operations, responsible for all IT infrastructure, systems and reporting development, and data transfers. As Director of Operations, she played a key role in the SAS 70 Type 2 certification. Our clients know that Gwen’s leadership in this area was demonstrated when the May 2010 Nashville flood required implementation of our disaster plan. Even though our facility was blockaded by Police for the better part of a week due to area flooding, we were operational within one day.
She has more than 26 years of experience providing these services in the Unemployment Insurance Cost Containment and Tax Credit and Incentives industry and has been with Thomas and Thorngren since the company was established in 1994. Gwen is originally from Minnesota and was educated at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
